The rosé wines we produce are rather unusual – they are made entirely from pinot noir grapes rather than the more common cabernet sauvignon or grenache.  As a result, even though it is a completely dry wine with no residual sugar, our 2008 Rosé has beautiful sweet notes of strawberries and toffee apples rather than the more usual savoury characteristics of rosé.  The vibrant pink colour gives the wine a happy, carefree appearance.  Enjoy it with friends under a shady tree over a long summer lunch.  It is perfect by itself or with picnic foods.
